A list of inspiring people that are helping to change the narratives around health, nutrition, fitness, mental health, mindset, and more. | Inspiring People to Opt In With from small-eats.com
I recently did a podcast episode starting to unpack what Diet Culture is, how it shows up in our lives, and what we can do to recognize it and start to separate from it. One of the small steps at the end of the show if you wanted to divest from diet culture was to opt out of media and people that are living that Diet Culture life and spreading it.

While you also opt of one way of thinking and being, you can also create a new world for yourself, which can feel freeing and also a bit scary. You may not be sure who to look to for inspiration, community or something more in line with your newer values or values that you’re showing up more for.

The company you keep and follow can be so helpful to see what’s possible, especially when you’re working to more aware and move away from something that’s not really serving you. I know that changing who I surround myself with and opt in to has been instrumental in my unlearning and separation from Diet Culture (and many other forms of oppression and things that no longer serve me), aligning and embodying my values more, and feeling more confident in showing up as me.

Below is a list (that will continue to be added to) of all of the people and womxn that I follow that inspire me to live a life that aligns with me.

Hope they can inspire you too!
