Eating healthily is only one part of the larger wellness picture. Over the years that I’ve been shifting to healthier eating, I’ve also been trying to incorporate other parts of wellness picture to various successes over the years. Some approaches have worked for periods of time, some haven’t, and some are a constant ongoing practice. This year I’m going to start sharing wellness ideas and posts to shed some more light here about that bigger picture….
I’m a book lover, through and through. From birth, I have loved and been captivated by books. One of my favorite pictures is of me as a toddler, reading a book with my mom, while being surrounded by even more books. I spent many hours as a kid in libraries, bookstores, and home with stacks and stacks of books….
Some of the best meals come from the most unexpected places. I first made a couscous like this as a dinner side. In typical fashion, I made a bit too much of it and into the fridge it went to become lunch leftovers. Or so I thought. The next morning I woke up, still craving that couscous….
